The New Infiniti FX50 Is Here! - World Premiere In Europe

Infiniti FX50At the Auto Show in Geneva was the world premiere of the new Infiniti FX50. 5 years after the first generation of the Infiniti FX launched in USA.

Who wants to see the current or soon to be old model can check it out on the American website. Or check out my old post, when I was writing about the 2 years anniversary of my FX including a commercial.

I don’t know if I really like the new model. On one hand, they did a great job on the interior, back and on the side. But the front is not what I was expected. I like the lights, but the front is just too small know. Not bold at all. It looks more like castrated.

I guess I’ll have to see the car in person, that might change my opinion of the new design. I’m looking forward to check it out.

The presentation of the world premiere in Geneva was unspectacular. The car had a descent color (dark brown), would be better to have it in black, silver or the new black - alpine white. Except a little fog there were no special effects at the presentation.

But I’m sure Infiniti will conquer Europe by storm. Audi, BMW, Porsche and Mercedes will get quite a bit competition on their terrain.

Just an update: probably replacing the muffler with a Garrett T4 :) Infiniti FX35 with Megan Racing resonated test pipes and a Flowmaster 80-series muffler, rest of the exhaust stock.
