Ford Taurus X

Lighter side of things - Taurus X is a station wagon.

Wanted to note something as I was browsing the news on lunch - CNN.com publised a report noting women having more influence on buy and all that kind of thing (tell me something I dont know) and cited the Taurus X as Ford’s effort to satisfy that desire.

Interested, I flipped over to the Ford webiste and searched for the Taurus X (you gotta hunt for it folks, not good) and found it. When I did, I was shocked. Its a station wagon. No ifs ands or buts.

For those who cant or dont remember what at station wagon was - it was the forerunner to the minivan, except far more hideous.

Ford apparently decided to create a Taurus based station wagon and call it a cross over. Um sure.

If you dont believe me, check it out for your self.

Thats not to say the features arent cool. They do well given the market - but geeze. Maybe they will throw in a pair of bell bottoms or a button up polyester t shirt to go with it. :)
