WR Fleet: 2009 Mitsubishi Galant Ralliart

While not an instant favorite, Mitsubishi’s Galant Ralliart did find its way into the hearts of WINDING ROAD staffers over time. While proving itself to be a bit of a surprise in terms of overall ability, there were still some things we thought needed working on in the Mitsubishi sedan.

What a blast to drive this 2009 Galant Ralliart! I would have loved a manual transmission to make the experience even more fun. The styling of the Ralliart isn’t too bad. The front fascia seemed like it was missing something, but overall I didn’t mind the body styling. There was plenty of room inside, and the fundamentals of the dash were perfect. Well, almost. What gives with the nav system? What an awful design. I wanted to push it down into the dash. And every time the temperature was adjusted, it flashed air conditioning and stayed at the temp screen. Not good when you have to take your hands off the wheel to push the audio button.
